Role Overview
As a Software Engineer I at Growww Tech, you will own end-to-end web and mobile features. You will work across Shopify themes in Liquid, custom API integrations, mobile apps in Flutter/React Native, and headless Next.js storefronts.
Important Candidate Guidelines
- Work Location: Full-time in-office role based in Visakhapatnam. Remote work is strictly not supported.
- AI Tooling Requirement: Active daily use of AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, etc.) is a hard requirement.
Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
- 1–3 years of professional software development experience, focusing on web development or Shopify.
- Mandatory prior experience utilizing AI development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, Windsurf) in a professional workflow.
- Proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one backend language (PHP, Python, or Node.js).
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, Git version control, and mobile development frameworks (Flutter/React Native).
Key Responsibilities
Application Development & Feature Delivery
- •Design, develop, and deploy Shopify themes and custom storefront solutions using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- •Use AI developer tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude) to accelerate feature development and maintain quality code.
System Integration & Data Flow
- •Build and integrate Shopify apps, custom APIs, and third-party services like payment gateways and Shiprocket.
- •Conduct code reviews, mentor junior and intern developers, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
Testing, Quality & Collaboration
- •Develop mobile applications using Flutter or React Native for D2C brands.
